Colonoscopy​ and Gastroscopy

Endoscopic procedures are performed by Dr Anticich, usually under  sedation provided by an Anaesthetist.

Gastroscopy

• Usually performed under sedation

• Can be performed awake without sedation 

• Requires a period of fasting prior

• May be performed immediately before or after colonoscopy

Colonoscopy

• Usually performed under sedation

• Can be performed awake without sedation 

• Requires bowel preparation along with a period of fasting​​​​
